Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) looks at triggers / situations that cause distress and an emotional shift, such as panic, stress, anxiety or depression. CBT breaks down the situation into thoughts,
physical, behaviours and emotions. The idea is these all interact and affect how someone feels. We can then use this to identify techniques to break these cycles.
This website is purely informational resources, if you feel CBT could be beneficial to you this can be access through your GP, self refer to a local Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service or medical insurance providers, sometimes offered through employers.
